Certified Baby Sleep Consultant

Welcome

Welcome to Sleep Oasis Solutions
I’m Ellis Richards, a certified Infant and Child Sleep Consultant and mum to a beautiful baby boy. I specialise in gentle, responsive, and hands-on sleep support that’s tailored to your child and grounded in care and understanding.

With over 15 years of experience working with families, I’m here to help you feel supported, confident, and well-rested—without leaving your baby to cry it out. I know firsthand how emotional and exhausting sleep challenges can be, and I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.

What I Can Help With

At Sleep Oasis Solutions, I offer personalised support for a wide range of sleep challenges across infancy and early childhood. Whether you're navigating sleepless nights or struggling to find a consistent routine, I’m here to help you feel calm, confident, and supported.

Here are some of the areas I can help with:

  • Frequent night wakings

  • Short or inconsistent naps

  • Early morning wake-ups

  • Bedtime battles and resistance

  • Transitioning from cot to bed

  • Helping babies and toddlers learn to self-settle

  • Creating age-appropriate routines and sleep schedules

  • Gently weaning off feeding to sleep or rocking to sleep

  • Supporting anxious or overwhelmed parents needing guidance and reassurance

Every sleep plan I create is tailored to your child’s unique needs and your family’s values. I use a gentle, responsive, and hands-on approach, meaning no cry-it-out methods—just calm, supportive strategies that nurture both connection and consistency.

“There are so many different views on sleep training, but my approach is gentle, hands-on, and flexible. I stay with little ones until they’re calm, happy, or asleep — and I’d never expect you to leave your child before you feel confident doing so.

I’ve recently had my own baby, and I’ve used the exact methods I teach with my clients. Since seven weeks old, my son has been sleeping beautifully — sometimes through the night, sometimes with just one wake for a feed. At five months, he loves his cot, can settle himself most of the time, and on the odd nap, he just needs a little patting or shushing.

This is what gentle sleep support looks like: staying present, giving your child comfort and security, and building their confidence to sleep well. I’ll be there with you every step, until you and your little one no longer need me.”
